2026 marks the Centennial Year to celebrate the architects of progressive jazz, MILES DAVIS and JOHN COLTRANE.

 This exclusive program has been curated and created by TERENCE BLANCHARD , a respected band leader honored for pushing the genre forward and with the most direct links to the creativity, futurism, transcendence, freedom, heat, and the birth of the cool that personified the eras and music of MILES and ‘TRANE.

The MILES / COLTRANE  LEGACY program is exceptional, with direct musical heirs at the helm, Terence Blanchard bring personal, authentic connections to the music of Miles and ‘Trane. Unlike standard tributes of faithful recreations, this centennial celebration emphasizes the innovation and reinterpretation from both leaders embody and channeling the spirit of improvisation and forward-thinking that defined both icons. By including his own band, the E-Collective, and a range of special guests to include the most well-respected Saxophonists on the planet.

2026 will also see a series of album releases by Blanchard honoring the jazz legacy hewn by Miles and ‘Trane, subsequent promotional activities, and publicity placements across all media.

Blanchard, who is known for pushing boundaries in his own right, will ensure each night’s performance is not just nostalgic but living, evolving experiences, honoring Davis and ‘Trane by creating something new rather than simply replicating the past.
