  • Known for their “impeccable musicianship” and “sumptuous sound,” the Hermitage Piano Trio—violinist Misha Keylin, cellist Sergey Antonov, and pianist Ilya Kazantsev—has earned multiple GRAMMY® nominations and widespread critical acclaim. Each member brings a remarkable solo pedigree: Keylin’s recordings of Vieuxtemps’ violin concertos have sold in the hundreds of thousands worldwide; Antonov was a gold medalist at the prestigious International Tchaikovsky Competition; and Kazantsev has garnered top honors in major international piano competitions. While the Trio and its members have collaborated extensively with other artists, few match the stylistic range and interpretive boldness of violist Jordan Bak, whose adventurous spirit and deep commitment to both traditional and lesser-known repertoire make him a natural artistic partner—especially in the expansive and expressive world of the piano quartet.

An internationally acclaimed violist, Jordan Bak is celebrated for his compelling stage presence, powerful interpretations, and passionate advocacy for new music. A top laureate of the Concert Artists Guild, Sphinx Competition, and Tertis International Viola Competition, Bak has premiered works by leading contemporary composers and performed at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and the Concertgebouw. His 2022 debut album, IMPULSE, was met with enthusiastic praise and has surpassed one million streams. As an educator, Bak serves as Assistant Professor of Viola at UNCSA and has given masterclasses across the globe. He is also one of just three violists to have earned the prestigious Artist Diploma from The Juilliard School.

Together, this powerhouse ensemble of four has brought their artistry to audiences at the Cranbrook Music Guild, Corpus Christi Chamber Music Society, Buffalo Chamber Music Society, Red Bank Chamber Music Society, and Lincoln Friends of Chamber Music, among others.
