Within over 30 albums and soundtracks, Blanchard’s music has that timeless flow of creativity throughout. Even twenty-five years later, his music from Flow still resonates, capturing the fleeting magic bubbling up and around. His touring band was fearless and persistent, diving into the Flow every night.

Collaborating with the Metropole Orkest, Blanchard’s new orchestrations will embrace the audience from many different sides and angles, not just from the intense creativity within the heart of jazz. Our singular immersive multi-media presentation, creative community outreach, workshops, and discussion sessions will contribute to the audience’s appreciation of the bountiful experience of FLOW+.
Robin Burgess’ significant career in arts and event production includes international tours for Terence Blanchard, Robert Glasper, Kenny Garrett, and Lizz Wright, collaborations with projection artists like Dallas’ Andrew F. Scott, filmmakers Spike Lee, Halle Berry, and Taylor Hackford, directors of acclaimed operas, James Robinson and Camille A. Brown, while also orchestrating all-encompassing experiences for SFJazz as their Artistic Special Projects Manager.
